Phase 2: Architecture Workshop
This phase is where RefinedSite.com will design the complete solution, including identifying any areas of risk to completing the project on time and within budget.

Deliverables
End-to-end Architecture document that outlines how all the components of the application will work together, including links to legacy systems. This is the technical blue print of the application.

Functional Specifications for each screen, report, interface and engine which documents in detail the client requirements. This gets to the detail of the tab order of screens, the fonts for reports etc.

Project plan for construction outlining all milestones for the duration of construction, including staffing plans.

Risk management plan.

Project calendars showing weekly schedules and deliverables for a staffed team.

Product specifications outlining software and hardware requirements and prerequisites are defined.

Like building a custom home, this workshop establishes the complete architecture for your home, the blueprints, materials and labor inventory list, and a construction schedule. Some details, like selecting your fixtures, still remain for the construction phase.

Week 2 - 4
Technical architecture and project plans are built.

Week 4
Reviews are completed and technical architecture is finalized. Product Specifications are also finalized. The project plan for construction is completed at this time.

Phase 3 begins with the Deployment Planning Workshop.
